Global Fraud Protection Experts’ Verdict:Don’t Invest in This Scam Broker!

FortFS Regulation – Is The Broker Legit?

FortFS claims to be a Fort Financial Services Ltd brand based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Despite claiming to have been established in 2010, our checks discovered that their website is active as of 2019, meaning only for the last 2 years.

So, is this another sad attempt by the unregulated broker to present itself as long-lasting and trustworthy? Probably.

What’s Wrong With License?

Since FSA doesn’t regulate but just registered financial companies, FortFS regulation has to come from FCA, ASIC, BaFin, or a similar Tier 1 regulator. However, it’s not the case, meaning that your funds are at high risk with this illicit offshore trading firm.

Scam Warnings From Financial Watchdogs

CNMV About FortFS Scam

Back in 2019, when the broker was first established, two EU regulators immediately noticed its illicit activities and reported about it. Those were Spanish CNMV and Belgian FSMA.

Both of these authority bodies stated the same – stay away from FortFS trading scams and report any suspicious activities immediately.

We also recommend staying away from scammers such as HND Global Limited, HandelXP or MNP Capital. Without a doubt, it will save your money, nerves and time!

What Trading Platforms Are Available? – Trading Software

When it comes to FortFS trading platforms, clients have a real variety of choices. The broker offers MT4, MT5, and two Web traders – NinjaTrader and CQG platform.

FortFS MT4 – MetaTrader 4 Platform

Since MT4 is recognized as the most secure trading platform, no wonder many traders have decided to use this particular one. It has many charts and indicators, nine time-frames, multiple order types, and EAs.

FortFS MetaTrader 5 – MT5 Platform

MT5 is a successor to MT4 and can brag about an even larger number of indicators. With a total number of 38 indicators and 44 graphical objects, this platform is far ahead of any other. It also allows up to 100 charts to be opened simultaneously and has EAs.

NinjaTrader

If the broker wishes to provide a Web trader but is unwilling to create a proprietary, they can purchase a ready-made version. That’s something that FortFS did with the NinjaTrader. As expected, it’s a TradingView chart with indicators and 3 chart types.

CQG Platform

Another option for those who prefer web trading over the traditional app is the CQG platform. It includes a Web trader, CQGTrader, CQG Integrated Client, and CQG Mobile. However, you will have a fee of $40 per month if you decide to go for this option, unlike all the other free platforms.

Mobile Trading App

While MT4 and MT5 have their free mobile app for Android and iOS mobile devices, with CQG, you will have a fee to use their app. Depending on the platform you choose, you can find the link to download it on the broker’s website.

Broker FortFS Trading Assets

FortFS Range of Trading Instruments & Markets

When it comes to trading instruments, FortFS reviews show that the broker offers:

  • 50+ currency pairs
  • 50+ global shares
  • Biggest world’s indices
  • 13 cryptocurrencies
  • Futures on bonds, commodities, and indices
  • Commodities such as gold and silver

All this comes with unregulated leverage of up to 1:1000, while FortFS’s minimum deposit is $5 or equivalent in any other currency. It sounds like a genuine offer, but you can expect instant losses with $5 and such high leverage.

FortFS Withdrawal Issues – No Money Withdrawal Guarantees

When brokers are unregulated, as is the case with broker FortFS, there is a lot of space for scams. Since such companies are not obliged to follow any rules or keep your funds in segregated bank accounts, they can easily use your money for their personal expenses. And there’s nobody who could stop them.

There are no withdrawal guarantees, and the best you can do is hope that you will get your money back after being involved with such a broker, especially if you accept the FortFS bonus that comes with a clause about non-withdrawals.
