Is KapitalXP a Scam Broker to Avoid?

According to the website, the broker KapitalXP has been registered in Germany. Furthermore, they added a logo of the German Federal Ministry of Finance, implying it is an approved brokerage.

First, companies providing financial services from Germany should be licensed by the German monetary authority body, BaFin. Upon checking their register, we haven’t found KapitalXP regulation.

Additionally, the owner behind the scenes is hidden, indicating that this firm doesn’t actually care to provide the information. Instead, their utmost goal is vanishing with your funds.

Be well aware of financial swindlers such as this one. You have no money-back guarantee, and you’re not entitled to compensation funds when dealing with bogus websites.

KapitalXP is an unregulated trading firm. With the alleged headquarters in Germany, the company should have a BaFin regulation. Instead, BaFin issued a warning against the fraud.

False Claims About Regulation Are a Bad Sign

In the Terms and Conditions, we found that the firm is allegedly regulated by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission. This is quite odd for a German-based firm, but we did due diligence.

According to CySEC databases, KapitalXP Forex broker has never entered a commercial register. Simply speaking, the claim about regulation is fake.

Warnings Against KapitalXP Fraud

KapitalXP Warning

Since the KapitalXP trading scam seems mainly turned towards German citizens, we’ve got an official BaFin warning.

According to it, the website KapitalXP is almost identical to other scheme platforms, such as EUAktien, EUSchild, SimpleXP, KryptoInv, and WSXP.

Since BaFin already issued warnings against all the aforementioned, it was clear that KapitalXP is just an extension of a well-known scam. Thus, it found its place on the blacklist.

Where Do KapitalXP Scam Victims Live?

The majority of victims of a KapitalXP scam come from:

  • Germany
  • Austria
  • Italy

However, it doesn’t mean that the firm is not widespread in Europe and further. If you ever come across the name KapitalXP, run.

Furthermore, you should avoid scammers like Oriontero, Tokens Note or InvestBY. It will save your money, nerves and time!

How Do Scammers Contact Their Victims?

Typically, brokers aggressively advertise their business through Google Ads, Facebook, and Instagram. These ads are flashy “get-rich-quick” schemes, inviting you to make millions out of 250 EUR.

Once you fall for it and leave your details, you can expect broker employees to give you numerous calls and send various emails, each with a better offer.

In some cases, you may even receive calls from multiple trading firms, as scam brokers tend to sell data between each other and increase their pool of potential victims.

If you deposit the money, your account manager will contact you through WhatsApp and Telegram, adding you to private chats with “special trading signals for the chosen group of investors.”

While this sounds amazing, it’s a lure to make you feel special and extort more money.

Finally, you can be approached through dating apps. Romance and monetary scams often go together. The potential prospect may be in touch for months before suggesting a joint investment in your future and recommending a scam broker, such as KapitalXP.

KapitalXP Login Issues – Scam Broker Can Disappear

Recent KapitalXP reviews report login issues. This is one of the first warning signs.

According to our vast experience, when customers submit a withdrawal request, brokers will do anything in their power to dissuade them. If nothing works, they may go as far as blocking your access to your investment account and money.

If you notice any KapitalXP login problems that last more than a few hours, you need to report them immediately.

What Trading Platforms Are Available?

While the KapitalXP trading platform is not quite advertised on the broker’s website, we were able to review it upon registering an account.

As expected, we’ve got access to a basic WebTrader. While it has some merely advanced functions and TAs, it doesn’t make it good software. In fact, it’s not even close to what you’d get with MT4 or MT5.

In addition, there are no mobile apps for Android and iOS, so all the trading has to be done from the web browser.

KapitalXP Trading Instruments – What Can I Trade?

Customers can invest in the following trading assets:

  • Currency Pairs (Forex) – EUR/USD, AUD/CAD, GBP/CHF
  • Indices – NASDAQ, BEL 20, IBEX 35
  • Commodities – Gold, Natural Gas and Corn
  • Cryptocurrencies – MATIC, SOL, DOGE

Oddly enough, shares are not on offer with this brokerage.

Fees and Spreads

All the FX major spreads are under 1 pip, which, per se, is terrific. However, it means that the firm is not interested in small commissions.

Unlike legit brokers that profit from swaps and fees, this one seems to be more interested in your deposit. Once they get ahold of it, they’ll simply block your trading account and vanish.

Is KapitalXP Demo Account Available?

The broker enables platform overview but not investing. A risk-free KapitalXP Demo account doesn’t exist

To test the broker’s system, you must make an initial deposit. And due to the broker’s illegal status and existing regulatory warning, we advise against it.

KapitalXP Deposit Methods – How To Deposit?

The company advertises several payment methods available for a deposit, but once you click on the Deposit page, you’ll be offered only one – a credit/debit card.

While this may sound limiting, it’s quite good. Each deposit made using Visa or MasterCard is protected by the right to file a dispute for a chargeback. As long as you do it within the specified time frame (up to 540 days), you can get your money back.

The KapitalXP’s minimum deposit is 250 EUR, which is standard in the industry but too much for an unregulated firm.

How Do I Withdraw Money From KapitalXP?

KapitalXP withdrawals are permitted using:

  • Wire transfer
  • Debit/credit card

The firm charges some hefty fees of 50 units for wire transfers and 25 units for credit/debit cards.

In addition, you have a withdrawal limit in case you’ve accepted KapitalXP’s bonus. Then, you’ll have to trade the bonus plus the deposit amount 25 times before being eligible to request your money back.

KapitalXP Withdrawal Issues and Withdrawal Fee Scam

As you can see from the bonus clause, this brokerage does anything to prevent customers from withdrawals. The majority of KapitalXP complaints refer to additional fees.

Seemingly, customers are asked to pay upfront fees and commissions to the firm before they approve a withdrawal request. Since all the trading commissions are deducted directly from the profit, any demand for transfer from your bank account or credit card is illegal and should be reported immediately.
