Solid Marketz Regulation and Security
Solid Marketz is a broker that does not reveal too much. In the “About Us” section, the company says Wize Private Financial Group owns it. If you check “Contact us” page, you will see the name Ideal Solutions. Whoever the owner is, one thing is for sure.
The company is based in Belgrade, Serbia. However, if you wish to provide financial services in Serbia or from Serbia, you need to be regulated by the Serbian Securities Exchange Commission.
Is Solid Marketz regulated? No.
What’s Wrong With Broker Regulation?
After reviewing the SEC’s register, we couldn’t find Solid Marketz or the alleged owners – Wize Private Financial Group or Ideal Solutions. This tells us that broker regulation doesn’t exist.
Be aware of this fact and don’t fall for cyber fraud.
Scam Warnings From Financial Regulators
There is an official warning against Solid Marketz broker by the UK Financial Conduct Authority. This regulator warned UK citizens about the Solid Marketz scam based on many complaints about the broker in regards to withdrawal issues.
What Are Trading Platforms Available?
As per the website, the broker trading platform is an MT4 in the form of a web trader and mobile trader. We are not quite sure if it’s possible to use the MT4 as an app. And the Demo account couldn’t help us verify this information since there is no one.
The broker does not provide any leverage at all, which is not the best option for traders. Even the EU regulators allow brokerages to offer leverage up to 1:30. Without any leverage, clients need to deposit enormous amounts of money to generate higher profits.
If this suits you, it’s alright. Yet, we do not think it’s such an attractive offer.
In Which Countries Does This Broker Work?
The broker does not provide financial services to US citizens and areas where trading is prohibited by local law. However, since there is no regulation even by the Serbian authorities, this company is forbidden from conducting any financial services.
Yet, it looks like the broker operates in the UK, Italy, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, and many other EU countries without proper regulation.
What Can You Trade With This Broker?
Solid Marketz offers clients trading with currency pairs, commodities, indices, and shares. As per the website, there are over 360 financial instruments available. Since there is no Demo account, this cannot be verified.
On the other hand, you need to pay Solid Marketz a minimum deposit of 250 EUR to get access to the platform and assets. This is a too high amount for an unregulated brokerage.
What to do if you fall victim to the Solid Marketz scam?
If you were scammed by Solid Marketz, of course, you need to get your money back. Do not let the scammer go away with your money. Since you are not the only victim of the Solid Marketz scam, there are people with experience in such a situation.
